Install Outdoor Mesh WiFi
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m ready to extend my home network so the patio, garden, and detached garage all enjoy the same fast, reliable connection we already have indoors. My current network has a Google WiFi mesh with internet from Spectrum. from I want a true mesh WiFi solution—no extenders—seamlessly linked to my existing router so there is a single SSID and smooth roaming everywhere on the property, if possible.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Survey and advise on the best weather-proof mesh units (e.g., WiFi 6 outdoor nodes or something like the Eero Outdoor) that will cover the three target zones without dead spots.
• Integrate the new outdoor nodes with my current router, configure channels, security, and guest access, then run speed and coverage tests to confirm stable signal at each location.
Acceptance criteria
• −70 dBm or better at the far end of the garden and inside the garage. if it can reach like 300 ft, that would be great.
• Same SSID and password indoors and outdoors, if possible, with zero drop-outs while roaming.
• Final report showing placement diagram, firmware versions, and benchmark results.
