Filtration White Paper

A paper introduction in google:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IxSB3m4F0UBjRvT0wI5b44tOh1Q9aX807QoW4ma3Ctg/edit#

The start of that document (not formatted here):

We plan to publish a well researched and highly informative white paper about mechanical filtration that informs and guides both the non-expert and professional. We will explain why filtration is important, explain the elements of a great filtration system and where filtration fits in, and then we will explore current challenges in the marketplace. Why is most current filtration not optimal? We will also explore solutions to this problem. Challenges and proposed solutions will be both technical and conceptual. This paper has a sponsor, but the goal is not to advocate specific product(s) or solution(s) for the sponsor, but to elevate the market for top quality HVAC and filtration products, so that all home and all building occupants can benefit from this knowledge. The focus of this paper is largely residential and the paper sponsor is US-based. But as many of the concepts are widely applicable, there isn’t a need to constantly emphasize these facts and this geography when concepts (like what is filtration) might apply more widely.

How does filtration work as a part of great ventilation system?
Generally speaking, we’re going to end up recommending whole-house ventilation when possible, and saying it’s optimal because it is. But this discussion might be wider and whole house need not be the only concept defined?

Offer Expertise/Advocacy/Opinion
Provide actionable tech/hardware solutions people can implement with current technology and knowledge
Advocate for additional solutions
Technology needed
Desired policy/code/rule changes, if any
Provide additional ideas if applicable that stakeholders can advocate for, or expect
