Improve Performance of Astrology Site
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
At IdealHoroscope.com, there is a Wordpress site that offers a free Vedic Horoscope chart.
The site is installed on a VPS hosted by Contabo.com.
The VPS runs Virtualmin/Webmin.
I built the site to earn income via Adsense, but it's not doing very well.
Traffic is very patchy and so is income.
I have an account with Neil Patel's Ubersuggest, which provides useful tips on how to optimise the site, but I am too busy to implement the suggestions.
90% of the income seems to derive from visitors who sign up for a reading on the home page, then click on an ad a few pages later, during their reading.
At least I think that is what is happening. Maybe I need more accurate tracking with Adsense.
Although there are dozens of articles with ads, they don't seem to get much traffic or generate any income.
I definitely don't want any more articles.
What I do want is someone to evaluate the site and optimise it for SEO.
What can you change to attract more visitors?
I also need a review of my Adsense placements.
Do I have the best settings? The best kind of ads? Does it matter while traffic is so low and inconsistent?
What do you recommend?
If you know how to improve the performance of this site and reach a target of 2,000 impressions per day, please let me know what you would do specifically to achieve this.
The attachments give evidence of traffic and some idea of what needs improving.
At the top of your application, write the answer to the following question:
2 + 2 = ?
This will show you that you are not a robot and have read the job description.
Applications that do not contain this answer will go straight to trash.
Any chats that contain only the generic message
“Hey, I'm interested in your project. Please send me a message so that we can discuss more.”
will go straight to trash.
Tell me exactly what you would do, how long it would take you, and how much improvement in traffic you could deliver in the next 3 months.
NO placemarker bids.
Quote your price for the job – NOT your hourly rate.
NO phone calls or emails; Freelancer applications only
I am often out of my office, so it may be some time before I respond.
