Experienced Rigger For Heavy Lifts Malaysia PETRONAS
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I’m looking for a competent rigger to support upcoming site work that involves moving and securing heavy components. The core of the assignment is pure rigging—selecting the right lifting gear, slings, shackles and hoists, then safely positioning the load and checking stability once it is in place.
Although the focus is rigging, being comfortable with light grinding and welding will be a plus; around half of the job may call for touch-ups on edges or quick tacks to hold brackets before the main welders step in. If you can handle a grinder and perform straightforward MIG or stick passes, let me know in your bid.
Site safety is non-negotiable. I will expect you to come prepared with your own PPE, demonstrate correct hand-signal communication with the crane operator, and follow all lock-out / tag-out rules while working around energized machinery.
Deliverables
• Properly rigged and positioned equipment, inspected and signed off as secure
• Minor grinding or tack-welding carried out where needed, with surfaces left clean
• Daily safety brief sheets and lift plans handed over at the end of each shift
If you have at least three years of hands-on rigging experience and can show familiarity with grinders and welding torches, I’d like to hear how soon you can start and what certifications you hold.
