Concrete Works & Formwork Dismantling
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m putting together a small crew to move an active job-site from the pour stage to the next trade. The core task is the safe, methodical dismantling of timber and steel formwork; every panel has to come down cleanly so it can be re-used on the next section. Alongside this you’ll lend a hand with day-to-day concrete works, basic rebar handling and light welding when braces or kickers need a quick fix.
You’ll fit straight in if you can:
• Strip wall, column and slab formwork without damaging faces or hardware
• Follow site-specific safety plans, especially when working at height
• Coordinate with the finishing team so stripped areas stay tidy and ready for the next pour
• Jump in on general tasks—minor patch repairs, tying the odd bar, torch-welding a broken frame—without waiting to be asked
Deliverable: a clear, debris-free deck and stacked, accounted-for formwork, signed off by the site engineer.
If your toolbox already includes a harness, impact gun, basic welding kit and a solid understanding of concrete behaviour during curing, let’s talk schedules and mobilisation.
