My corporate web application is almost launch-ready and I’d like a meticulous manual tester to run through it from a real-user perspective. The focus is two-fold: solid functional coverage and thoughtful UI/UX feedback.
Scope of the testing
• Functional paths: Verify every navigation flow works as intended and that all form submissions (contact, newsletter, quote requests, etc.) behave correctly, including client-side and server-side validation messages.
• UI/UX observations: Note layout inconsistencies, readability issues, and any friction points that may confuse visitors. The site carries a large volume of copy, so you’ll need enough German to spot linguistic or contextual glitches within that text.
• Browser target: Microsoft Edge is the primary environment to cover; feel free to flag issues you notice on other modern browsers, but Edge results take priority.
Deliverables
1. A concise defect log (spreadsheet or similar) with reproducible steps, expected vs. actual outcomes, and severity.
2. Annotated screenshots or short clips for visual issues.
3. A brief summary section highlighting UI/UX suggestions that could improve clarity or user confidence.
