e-commerce site selling mp3 files - PHP coder needed for Search engine and albums pages

Job ID: 33549337

Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD

A friend of mine wants to have an e-commerce site for selling mp3 files. She is a voce coach and made accompaniments for vocal pieces and wants to sell them through this site.

The site is already made in WordPress with all the pages needed (About Me, Testimonials, Find, Albums, Cart, Checkout, Support, My Links, Galleries) with their respective buttons in the Menu.
The most important pages, those allowing the selling of the files, are the page Find and Albums.

The page Find needs an internal Search engine to precisely display the files (demos of the full size mp3) stored according to the terms used in search, terms such as name of composers, titles of pieces, or other terms included in titles (soprano, tenor, etc).

The titles of available demos of the pieces found after the search, should be displayed on this Find page together with their prices; each title must have (to its right) two buttons: Play and Buy.

When the customer clicks/taps Play, then the demo of that piece should be played in an integrated player; if the customer likes the demo, then s/he clicks/taps the Buy button which should begin the purchase process: first lead to the Cart page which will contain the respective title with its title.

The Cart page should have two buttons:
- NEXT button, which directs to the Checkout page, where the details of the order are displayed.
- CONTINUE PURCHASE button, in case s/he wants to return to the Find page with the Search results in order to buy other items already displayed after search.

In the next page, the Checkout page, it will be created customer's order with all the details – Title(s) of the piece(s) and the total sum of the purchase -; the NEXT button will leads directly to customer’s PayPal account where the customer logs in and proceeds as usual.

Following the approval of the purchase, the link(s) to the whole mp3 file(s) will be transmitted to the customer's email address, together with a pdf file of the order.

The only data that the customers should provide is the e-mail address in a form, either in the Cart page or the Checkout page (how this is considered appropriated by the coder).

Neither credit cards number, nor accounts for the site should be needed, as these procedures are clearly turns off for customers who can abandon the purchase because of this.

A business PayPal account for the site will be created so that the payment process can be made; it is not created yet, but PayPal answered that this business account can be set up whenever needed.

The order sent to the customer will be created with the data of this business Paypal account that will have the same the name as the site.

The button Albums in the menu, will display the names of all available albums in the site with their cover (each album has its cover included, an ipg file, in its respective folder) – approx 35 albums are available now in the site, each with around 10-12 whole mp3 files.

Each name of an album, when clicked, should display the titles of the pieces included in it; the same buttons – Play and Buy should be available to the right of the each title, allowing the same purchase process as in Find page. A Buy button for the whole album, with its price, should also be available.

The display of the titles of each album should be beneath/bellow each album title using the expand/collapse method; for usability purposes, the customer should not leave the Album page.
For this, a Plus sign to the right of each Album title; once expended the content of the album, a minus sign instead.

All the files are organized in the site (in the public FTP folders) in two main folders: demos and full size mp3 files, each with the respective the albums folders; inside each album folder there is also a csv file (also an excel file) with the titles of pieces, names of composers and other tags, in order to be found and accessed according to the terms used in Search engine.
