Project Overview
We have an existing WordPress website hosted on GoDaddy and are looking for a reliable freelancer to help us update and improve the website.
The immediate requirement is a one-time project involving website content updates and a review of the website's technical setup. However, we would like to establish a relationship with someone we can continue working with for future website needs as they arise.
Scope of Work
Content Updates
- Update existing website content, text, images, and pages through WordPress.
- Ensure content is properly formatted and displayed across devices.
- Suggest improvements to page layouts, user experience, and content presentation where appropriate.
Technical Review & Improvements
- Review current hosting setup and recommend improvements if needed.
- Review SSL/security certificate configuration and resolve any issues.
- Evaluate website performance, speed, and overall health.
- Recommend and implement basic security and maintenance best practices.
- Identify any outdated plugins, themes, or WordPress configurations that should be updated.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience working with WordPress websites.
- Familiarity with GoDaddy hosting environments.
- Understanding of SSL certificates, website security, hosting, and performance optimization.
- Ability to explain technical recommendations in simple terms.
- Proactive mindset and willingness to suggest improvements rather than simply follow instructions.
- Good communication and responsiveness.
Future Opportunities
While this is currently a project-based engagement, we are interested in building a long-term relationship with someone we can reach out to for future website updates, improvements, troubleshooting, and technical guidance.
