Clean VPS Backup Archives. Delete Backup Files

I have a VPS hosting with Hostinger. recently, we created backup copies and downloaded them to my PC. Now, I need the help of someone to delete those files
Very important: the job is not simply about clicking the "Delete" button. Rather, you need to check these files, ASSURE me that deleting them WILL NOT affect the websites in any way, and stay with me for a while after deleting them so I can check the websites and make sure that thy indeed have not been affected
