Update My WordPress Website Using Elementor – Modern, Clean, and Easy to Use

I’m looking for a skilled web designer/developer to update my WordPress website (currently at www.proseries.nz) using Elementor. The aim is to give it a modern, clean, professional, and easy-to-use design, while making sure I (as the client) can maintain and update it myself going forward.

Current Site Review & Upgrade Goals
Here’s what I’ve observed about the current website and what I want improved:

The content structure is fine (product categories like Downlights, Wall Lights, Track Lights, etc) but the visual styling is dated and doesn’t reflect a high-end professional brand.

Some pages feel cluttered or not optimised for easy navigation.

I want the site to load faster, look sharp on desktop + mobile, and make life easy for me to update (images, text, new products).

I’d like stronger visual consistency (fonts, colours, spacing), a clean header/navigation, better product category pages, and an improved homepage that conveys professionalism and clarity.

Bonus: if possible, new template blocks using Elementor so I can create future pages easily (e.g., new product launches, blog, gallery) without needing the developer each time.

Requirements
Here are the key things I need your help with:

Theme & Design – Create a modern layout using Elementor. Use clean typography, plenty of white space (or minimalist design), easy-to-read product categories, intuitive navigation.

Homepage Redesign – Design a homepage that clearly presents the brand, highlights key product categories, has a clear call to action (e.g., “View Products”, “Contact Us”), and is visually compelling.

Template Setup – Using Elementor theme builder: set up header/footer, product category template pages, single product pages (if applicable), blog template (if required). Make sure new pages can be created easily.

Mobile Responsiveness – Ensure the site looks and functions flawlessly on mobile & tablet as well as desktop.

Editable Content – Make sure I can easily edit text, replace images, add new categories or products without messing the design. Provide short training or documentation.

Performance & Best Practice – Optimise for speed (lightweight design, optimised images, clean code). Follow SEO best practice (basic). Use Elementor in a way that doesn’t lock me into heavy maintenance or expensive future changes.

Migration/Backup – If necessary, ensure there’s a safe backup in place before major changes and a staging / test environment (if recommended) so the live site downtime is minimal.
