Static Site Data Migration
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I need the content of an existing static HTML site reproduced inside my WordPress installation. You will be given full backend access to WordPress (latest version, Gutenberg active) as well as a zipped copy of the current site so you can pull everything directly.
Scope of work
• Re-create every page from the static site as a WordPress page or post, matching headings, paragraphs, links, and any inline formatting.
• Upload all images to the Media Library and insert them in the correct spots, keeping original file names and alt tags.
• Preserve the original slug structure so current URLs continue to work (I’ll handle any necessary redirects).
• Carry over basic on-page SEO elements already present in the HTML—title tags, meta descriptions, and H-tags.
• Replicate simple layout features with the standard block editor; no custom theme edits are required.
Acceptance criteria
1. All pages load in WordPress with content visually matching the source site.
2. Internal links function and point to the new WordPress URLs.
3. Images are served from the WordPress Media Library with correct alt text.
4. No broken formatting when viewed on desktop and mobile.
