Large WooCommerce Store Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m ready to launch a full-scale online store on WooCommerce and need someone who can take the project from a clean WordPress install all the way to a live, revenue-ready site. My catalogue will exceed 500 products, so the build must be optimised for bulk import, quick navigation, and smooth checkout.
Core requirements
• Set up WooCommerce with a modern, mobile-friendly theme and customise it to match my branding.
• Configure Stripe as the primary payment gateway, including test transactions and live hand-over.
• Structure categories, attributes, and filters so shoppers can find products quickly even at high volumes.
• Import the initial product set (500+ SKUs) via CSV or another bulk method, ensuring images, variations, and SEO data carry over correctly.
• Implement performance best practices—caching, image optimisation, clean code—so the site stays fast under load.
• Add essential ecommerce features such as tax and shipping rules, order tracking, customer email notifications, and basic analytics.
Acceptance criteria
1. All products display correctly with prices, stock status, images, and variations.
2. A test purchase using Stripe processes end-to-end without errors.
3. PageSpeed Insights scores 85+ on mobile and desktop for key pages.
4. Admin panel shows orders, reports, and inventory accurately.
If you have deep WooCommerce experience and have handled large catalogues before, I’d love to see examples of similar stores you’ve built and hear how you’d approach this one.
