Coding for website to display new cart value
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need some changes to an existing website. We are using Shopify 2.0 plus.
We are a wholesale company. And would like to create a new price value to display on our cart and checkout which would be for “cart retails value”
How it would work:
On each product variant, Create a new meta field on product pages. Then we would manually fill out the product or multiple product variants “cart retail value” number for each variant.
Then the “cart retail values” would be multiplied by purchase quantity. And then the “total cart retail values” would be added up together, and that price “total cart value” displayed in the cart, Ajax cart and checkout.
This way, a customer who is buying wholesale items, can see its total retail value to see how much they could earn.
Lastly, in the cart and checkout, if we could add another field called “potential profit” which is the “total cart retail value” - “total cart cost”
Can this be done with minim impact to the website speed.
Open to another way, or a 3rd party app. But we need to feed in the values for all variants to be added together.
