website design

I am looking to have a website designed for a new enterprise. The website I require should be an E-commerce website, allowing customers to browse products and make purchases through the website. I am open to any colour palette when designing the website. The website should have a modern look to attract customers, as well as an easy to use user interface and layout. I am looking for a design that is fast and responsive and with an eye-catching appearance. I am open to any suggestions on the best way to make this a successful website and encourage innovative ideas.
I currently have a wordpress subscription, preference is to continue with that but open to suggestions. Its mainly the layout of the website.
