A video conferencing web application (POC)
Budget: €30 – €150 EUR
Project Description:
We would like to get a detailed report with pricing of various options or 3rd party vendors for a Video conferencing web app. Further, we need Simple Proof Of Concept(POC) built in Javascript. It needs to be stress-tested for the load. The current infrastructure is on AWS, Start your proposal with [100+ people conference] while bidding.
We will then integrate your Proof Of Concept (POC) code into our existing codebase.
There are 2 scenarios to be covered
1st Scenario - (Rooms) Many to Many Video Conferencing solution
1. Upto 100 members in the room and 16 max. on each table of a room
2. Easy Developer integration into React/Vue app
2nd Scenario - (Broadcast) One to many integrations
1. Upto 150 participants
Considerations:
1. Firewall: Many users are behind a strict firewall. Only limited IP addresses on ports 443, 80 can be made open for our solution. Further compliances require that all servers are within North America.
2. Reliability and Scalability: The solution is web-based and should work efficiently even on:
- Mobile phone (both iOS and Android)
- Weak network connection
- Can join back easily if the connection drops
- Should be able to handle 150 users in broadcast and 30 members in the room
- Auto adjust video/audio quality based on bandwidth
3. Cost consideration: Duration and frequency:
- Broadcast: We will have around 100 broadcast sessions of 1 hour (one to many) with upto 200 participants per month
- Room: We can assume 100 sessions (many to many) of 1 hour and upto 100 users per month
- We require a projected monthly cost for each solution.
4. Development integrations for Broadcast and Rooms:
- Can mute/unmute(Both)
- Show/hide video(Rooms)
- Active Speaker View(Rooms and Broadcast)
- Easy Mobile Accessibility (iOS and Android) and with maximum browsers supported..
5. Other features:
- Screenshare facility
- Auto Video recording upload (upload speed should be maintained according to the video size which can be up to 7GB) to Amazon S3 or similar
- Preferable Cloud Recording/handle upload related issues if there is a loss in connectivity
- Video Translation feature
- Load Testing Ability
6. Future consideration:
-Mobile App in React Native
Some options that we are considering are Twilio, Jitsi
Thanks for dropping your proposal in advance. Add Handysolver at the start of the response.
Best wishes
