I need a more modern look to my website

I already designed my company's website (www.rescheckreview.com) and I feel that it needs a more modern look. The content is there, but I don't like the overall appearance. We cater to a small niche of people in that we work with residential home builders and owners. We also work with home builder associations. Our company specializes in the energy efficiency of new homes and additions. I have a blog and would like to see that as part of the design as well. All information that may be needed to explain who we are and what we do is included in the website.
