• Interactive facility to allow competitions
Get access to photos and writings on old PC and download photo and writings onto an external hard drive:
• Buy external hard drive, and
• Either hook up PC to use laptop as monitor and keyboard to gain access,
• Or take PC to shop to gain access.
Get access to photos and writings on old hard drive:
• Find a way to over-ride access permission denied
Storage of Photos:
• What storage options are there which do not use the Laptop memory? And
• Select and create best storage option for photos.
Install Adobe Lightroom on this Laptop:
• Either find a way to download Adobe software on old Laptop to install,
• Or download new Adobe software from internet
Install PDF software onto Laptop
• Select suitable software package and pay to download, or
• Find a free software for PDF
Organise Gmail on this Laptop so that:
• Gmail 2 is removed/deleted completely, and
• Gmail (currently only available via an internet connection) becomes an icon on my Desktop
Microsoft Outlook:
• Remove KNovy from this program, and
• If possible run my Gmail account from Microsoft Outlook
Mouse:
• Restore the Laptop ‘mouse’ function below the keyboard, and
• Keep the use of an external mouse as optional if possible
Connect my old PIXMA (MG6150) printer to my Laptop:
• Identify the correct wiring to connect printer and Laptop,
• Install necessary software (available from internet?) to allow access from Laptop, and
• Test run printer, there was a problem with the ink printing
Google as preferred/default search option:
• Remove Bing as default search option
• Promote Google to default search option
