UI/UX designer for Website Redesign (Data Visualization Pro)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are an EdTech startup, selling test prep content (practice tests and questions) to B2B (tutors) and B2C (directly to students). We have built a learning management system / test preparation platform and our goal is to build a companion marketing website.
I'm seeking a skilled UI/UX designer to elevate the visual appeal, navigation, and content organization of our website. This website is a companion website of our product. This is NOT a company website. This revamp should aim to boost user engagement, enhance brand perception, and drive lead generation.
Key Skills:
1. Data Visualization (minimal text) including infographics
2. Story telling to convey message clearly to the target audience
3. Strong focus on user experience
4. Research competition and analyze our product
5. Product-oriented thinking
Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
1. Understand our product (Learning Management System)
2. Research competitor websites (I will provide the list)
3. Design in Figma or similar tool
4. Review with our team, take feedback and revise the design - we will set up daily Zoom meetings to finish the design in a week
5. Work with wordpress developer to convert design into a functional website including final review of the website
We will provide:
1. List of competitor's website
2. High level content / information for each page (some will come from existing website/pages)
3. Existing website (www.highscores.ai) - only for the reference; we need fresh ideas and thinking
4. Any support or materials you need
Things to remember:
1. We are designing a product's companion website and not a company website - traditional layouts and thinking will not help
2. Data visualization, inforgraphics, product images etc. to convey the message is important - the less text is better for our audience. No one has time to read lengthy texts anyway
3. The design will be iterative and will require you to think fresh and in many cases start over if needed. No template-based thinking.

Your design will be used by our wordpress developer to create full website. We will provide content for each page. In some cases, you may use existing content and redesign. Your role will be crucial in transforming our website into a powerful tool for engaging and converting our varied audience groups. A strong brand image and a seamless user experience are non-negotiable.
Please apply ONLY if you are a highly-skilled web designer (not a web developer) with strong experience in data visualization. Make sure to provide supporting evidence.
