I am a female author looking to build an author’s website to showcase my writing in various forms and to direct interested readers to learn more about my writing. I want to support women in the tech industry.
What I am looking for:
A Wordpress developer
Someone to configure the Wordpress theme that I have already bought
I need you to remove the extraneous pages from the demo that I do not need, to save the pages I do and to insert my content on the pages
Required pages should be cloned/saved: contact, legal, cookies, copyright, etc; Basic content page can be cloned repeatedly for different content
An anti-spam component to be added to the contact form
Comments disabled
The site should be set up for single-column-width one-page scrolling
What I have:
A Wordpress site
A Wordpress purchased theme
A host
I have the complete demo downloaded to the site so individual pages need not be built from scratch
I will provide a banner photo for each page (see theme please if you’re not sure what I mean). I have limited content for the pages. I aim to add podcasts, and links to individual You Tube videos on their respective pages.
I will use the email from the website
I have already chosen fonts, button styles and hover symbols.
What I do not want:
I do not want someone to write code
I do not want someone to create or build a unique website from scratch
The future:
As I produce more work and decide whether I am going traditional, self or hybrid publishing (or all of the above!), I will want to have more book-specific content and may need to adjust the layout accordingly.
