We are looking for an experienced and skilled web developer to create a Vermittlungsplattform (mediation platform) with specific functionalities. The platform aims to serve as a marketplace where external providers can post listings (Posts) to reach a wider audience while offering exclusive discounts to users who subscribe to the platform.
Design:
- The client has a specific design in mind for the website.
Mobile Optimization:
- The website needs to be optimized for mobile devices.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in WordPress and NextJS development.
- Experience in creating e-commerce websites.
- Strong knowledge of responsive web design and mobile optimization.
- Ability to translate the client's specific design requirements into a visually appealing website.
- Familiarity with e-commerce functionalities such as product listings, shopping carts, and payment gateways.
- Understanding of SEO best practices to ensure the website is search engine friendly.
Key Features:
- User-friendly interface for posting listings with ZIP codes and categories for quick filtering through a proximity search.
- Ability for registered users to add listings to favorites and save search queries.
Automated newsletter notifications to users upon updates to existing posts and new entries within their favorite proximity search.
- Implementing a membership system with enhanced features for subscribers.
- Integration of a random code generator to create unique discount codes for users, comprising two initials and four numbers (e.g., User Max Mustermann -> Code MM0151).
- Separate login area for providers to access approved discount codes along with associated usernames and enable reissuing of codes for specific users.
- Automated email notifications with discount codes sent to users and providers upon code generation.
- Inclusion of a media library for managing various media assets (e.g., images, videos, files).
Publicly accessible profiles for providers, which can be edited by them and linked to their respective listings.
- Display of current events (Posts with dates) on the main page.
- User profiles to manage favorites and newsletter preferences.
Requirements:
- Proficient in WordPress or Next.js (React framework) for web development.
