I am wanting a website built from the wix platform. We will be adding multiple stores so we have to be able to expand as we add stores. I have been in contact with Wix and this is what they suggest:
I consulted with my Team regarding your business needs and we came up with the following outline for your model:
You would really only need one site for all of this, however the structure would entail a number of different features. For your associates and employees, the following would work:
Firstly, all of the people who are managing the site (designers, SEO agents, etc.) would need internal roles. There are a number of set roles that people can have on a Wix site, and you can create custom ones as well if needed: https://support.wix.com/en/article/roles-permissions-overview
Anyone who doesn't need to edit the site, but who perhaps needs to view private or corporate pages, could be added as members who login to a communal Members Area: https://support.wix.com/en/article/site-members-about-the-members-area

As for the business locations themselves. You can manage them in the following ways:

For individual branches, you can set up Dynamic Pages preloaded with branch information: https://support.wix.com/en/article/cms-about-dynamic-pages , and also a standalone map with that specific location: https://support.wix.com/en/article/cms-displaying-addresses-from-your-collection-items-on-google-maps . I recommend Dynamic Pages as they decrease the amount of data being used on the site.
If you're looking to sell or display inventory/products on the site, then Wix Stores would do that for you: https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-stores-adding-wix-stores
Note: there is a 100-page limit on all Wix sites. Dynamic Pages and Store Pages - mentioned above - do not count toward this limit. Thus leaving you with more space for future projects or needs.
Since you're talking about starting with about 6 site designers and several locations, I think a mid-level plan would be fine for now. Here's a list of the plans available to you:
