We are seeking a skilled Wix Web Designer to complete the design of personal website. The site already has an initial structure and basic design but needs further refinement to ensure it meets high aesthetic and functional standards. The website of a colleague, Natalia Molina, Ph.D. (https://nataliamolinaphd.com/), serves as the primary reference and inspiration for this project.
Main Tasks:
• Responsive Design: Ensure the website dynamically resizes and maintains visual quality across various screen sizes and devices, including on mobile devices.
• Enhanced Presentation: Improve the layout and design of the “Publications” and “Media” sections, for example by incorporating animations and user-friendly buttons. Clear instructions are given below.
• Improve Readability: Optimize font choices, colors and sizing for clarity and readability.
Timeline:
The project should be completed as quickly as possible. Proposals promising a fast completion will be prioritized.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Expertise in Wix web design and UX best practices, particularly with experience in designing responsive, dynamic layouts.
• Familiarity with academic or professional websites is preferred.
Deliverables:
• Completed, responsive, and visually appealing website ready for launch.
• All design files and source assets used in the development.
• Brief documentation of any custom features implemented.

1. Main Page
First Section: Header and Introductory Content

• Text Adjustments: Increase the font size of the top line, bolden Professor Steinbach’s name, and make menu tabs more prominent, similar to the styling on the reference site: https://nataliamolinaphd.com/
• Color Adjustments: Improve the background color behind the “About” section to better harmonize with Professor Steinbach’s image.
Second Section: Publications
• Rename “Current Books” to “Recent Books.”
• Book Display Style: Format each book entry to display as a horizontal layout, with the book cover on the left and the release date, publisher, title, and description on the right. The description should be the same height as the book cover. Here is an example:
