Wireframe for Casual Employment Scheduling Web Application
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
NOTES:
● Discussion of the web app layout/workflow/user journey with the UX (or related) expert will be needed before the storyboard//wireframe is created.
● Please submit a portfolio including wireframes for consideration.
Project Scope
This project aims to develop a web-based application to streamline the management of casual employees (to begin with, teachers) and their availability for employers (to begin with, primary/elementary schools and secondary/high schools). The system will facilitate efficient communication and scheduling.
Employee features:
● Employee authentication (SMS verification OTP/email OTP, automatic log out weekly)
● Employees can manage their profiles, update and maintain personal information, including contact details, CV, and professional license (e.g., teaching registration) details.
● Employees can manage their availability.
● Employees can specify skills and qualifications (subjects) (subject to verification by the school manager)
● Employees can accept/reject shift requests. They can also view past and future scheduled assignments.
● Employees can request to be linked with particular workplaces/schools (subject to manager verification) and provide availabilities specific to individual workplaces (they can also provide general availability to all connected workplaces if preferred)
● Employees can specify work preferences e.g., for teachers, year levels and subjects willing/not willing to teach
Manager features:
● Manager authentication (SMS verification OTP/email OTP, automatic log out weekly)
● Managers can set up their company/school profile.
● Managers can invite and verify employees (conversely, employees can also request to have their profile added to specific employer portals)
● Managers can do free trials and buy subscriptions. Payment method integration such as Stripe will facilitate this.
● Managers can add, edit, view, and delete employees connected with their business/school.
● Managers can filter employees by:- employee name, skills (subjects), qualifications, willing/unwilling to teach, availability
● Managers can request employees for shifts (individual or batch)
● Managers can upload their school schedule/calendar and make it accessible to employees
Admin features:
● Admin authenticates employers by having managers complete an authentication process using their school email address.
● Admin platform summary dashboard.
● Admin can view all the employers onboarded and their subscription status.
● Admin can view all transaction history on the platform.
● Admin can view and delete employees added to the platform.
● Admin can view platform logs.
● Admin can edit subjects list.
● Main admininistrator can add/delete secondary administrators (secondary administrators cannot add or delete other administrators)
