Website and branding for local council
Budget: £15 – £99 GBP
Proposed scope of work:
1. Parish Council Website
a. Undertake routine maintenance to ensure the website is live and up to date – including navigation to the Agenda and Minutes pages, new agenda and minutes pages each year, adding new councillors, scrolling adverts on home page etc.
b. Keep the SEO up to date.
c. Add news stories, blog posts and events to the website.
d. Propose and implement changes to the structure of the website (such and embedding Facebook posts and news items on the home page)
e. To send out a monthly newsletter to email addresses registered with the website based on the Wendover News back page.
2. Visitor and Local Attraction Website
a. Build and design the visitor and attraction website in line with the wishes of the local business group.
b. Keep the SEO up to date.
c. Enable features on the website that allow contributors to add their events and details to the website and moderate these posts.
3. Social media
a. Support the office with social media posts as required and advise on social media strategy.
4. Comms and publicity
a. Produce pre-press quality artwork for official publicity banners and signage and liaise with printers where required.
b. Produce posters for committee dates, vacancies and other Council meetings.
c. Produce a style guide for the Parish Council and templates for letters/presentations/posters/office screen.
5. Village brand and identity
a. Develop a brand and identity, including a logo, colours and a style that can be used on the website and local signage and publications.
b. Apply this brand to the visitor and local attraction website and all other required applications eg: t-shirts, mugs, bags, postcards, posters.
