Website Optimization & Expansion
Budget: $10 – $20 USD
I am seeking a highly experienced web developer to improve an established website for a service-based construction company. This is not a redesign, rebrand, or platform change. The site already has structure, history, and search authority, all of which must be preserved. All existing URLs must remain unchanged. The intent is to elevate the site to a higher professional standard through targeted improvements that increase clarity, credibility, and lead conversion without disrupting what already works.
We already have a functioning well designed website, we just need improvements and professional incite for improvements.
The primary focus of this project is the homepage. It must immediately and clearly communicate who we are, what we do, and why we are the right choice—within the first few seconds of a visitor arriving. This includes refining headline structure, tightening service messaging, improving calls-to-action, and reinforcing trust through experience, process, and professionalism. The homepage should guide prospects smoothly from awareness to action through logical content flow and clear visual hierarchy, not flashy design changes.
Lead capture is a critical component of this engagement. Existing lead forms need to be improved to reduce friction, perform better on mobile devices, and clearly inform prospects what will happen after they submit their information. Field structure, usability, and routing all matter. The goal is to create a smooth, confidence-building transition from interest to contact, resulting in higher-quality inquiries and more consistent follow-up opportunities.
In addition to refining existing pages, a small number of strategic pages will be added where they directly support business objectives. This includes a Careers page that clearly explains company expectations, culture, and opportunities, with a simple, professional application process built into the site. The About Us page should also be elevated to better reflect who we are as a company—how we operate, how we manage projects, and what clients can expect when working with us—without relying on generic or overly promotional language.
This project requires a developer who understands what a high-level, professional construction website must accomplish beyond basic aesthetics. Smooth transitions, clear information flow, and intentional structure are essential to informing and guiding homeowners, property managers, and commercial prospects. I am specifically looking for someone who can think strategically about user experience, credibility, and conversion, while working carefully within an existing site framework. This is a business-critical optimization effort, and experience at a high professional level is required.
