Website Domain change & Rebranding Advice & Guidance

I am looking for advice and guidance on migrating a website to a different domain name. I need it so that when someone clicks on old url on google it redirects to new domain name. And also advice on making sure email setup is ok when all migrated so there is no issues. Does the emails need to be moved or just MX records changed etc.
