Website Development Improvements to Directory Style Site & Functionality
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I am looking for a website developer with web design skills to help with some improvements to my website (https://projectparty.com.au/). The website is an Australian-based directory-style site to connect people planning parties and events with suppliers and vendors in their area.
IMPORTANT: WILL ONLY RESPOND TO FREELANCERS WHO REVIEW ALL ITEMS AND PROVIDE SPECIFIC RESPONSE
The requirements include:
1. Login/dashboard area improvements
There is a login area for listing page owners to make changes to the listing. I would like to add the following to the functionality in this dashboard area:
- Tag uploaded images - currently, you are able to tag an image with an Occasion (e.g. Kids Party) and a Theme (e.g. Unicorn) and the image will appear on the feed page (e.g. https://projectparty.com.au/directory-themes-listing/?occasion=kids-party&theme=unicorn). Currently, this has to be completed manually by me so I’d like to add the functionality to the login area for owners to do this (upload, select image and tag from a drop-down list). This will need to be set to an amount of images based on their subscription.
- Review quotes - currently, any quote requests submitted through their listing form are sent to the listing owner via email. I’d like these submissions to also be collected in the dashboard.
- Add collaborators - a listing owner would typically work with other vendors listed on the site when setting up an event and I’d like for these ‘collaborators’ to be shown on their listing. The listing owner should be able to select a set amount of collaborators based on their subscription from a drop-down list.
2. Listing page improvements
There is a listing that is published (see example: https://projectparty.com.au/directory-party/listing/sugar-princess-cakes/) on the directory-style site and can be accessed via the search of feed pages. I would like to add the following to these pages:
- Make the gallery into a banner style (e.g. this example: https://www.partylane.com.au/listings/the-cooking-school/) and so remove the need to upload an additional image for the banner.
- Add collaborators section to the page, as tagged above.
- Add a confirmation message to the request a quote form when submitted.
3. Other improvements
- n Occasions style pages (see example: https://projectparty.com.au/directory-party/occasions/kids-party/), I’d like to make these page work more like the feed pages (see example: https://projectparty.com.au/directory-party/categories/party-entertainers-characters-hosts/) with the ability to filter by Theme (tag list already available).
- On Theme style pages (see example: https://projectparty.com.au/directory-themes-listing/?occasion=kids-party&theme=unicorn) I’d like to also make these pages more like the feed pages with the ability to filter by service (tag list already available).
- On Service style page (see example: https://projectparty.com.au/directory-party/tags/food-trucks/) I’d like to just change text from “[Service] Guide” to “[Service] Frequently Asked Questions”.
Please quote on the above items in your submission. For extra information, the site uses the DirectoriesPro plugin primarily with some additional customised functionality. The site is built on WordPress and also uses WooCommerce with the Uncode theme.
Also, if the above is completed successfully I’d like to discuss the other requirements as a separate project to be quoted on.
