Website Design
Budget: $50 AUD
We are looking for a part time website designer based in Sydney who can assist with mocking up various changes to our website (larsenjewellery.com.au) and providing them to our web developer, and to oversee this web development work.
Our website was redesigned not long ago, so at this point we are looking to make a wide range of incremental changes. In particular, we are looking to improve our e-commerce funnel. The work needs to be carefully coordinated with our SEO executive and with an agency that is assisting us with conversion optimisation and split testing.
The person we are looking for needs to have a really good design sense and have a good general understanding of UX. It would be beneficial if you have done website design work for any high end retail or fashion brands. Our website is using WordPress and WooCommerce.
We are a close-knit marketing team and you'll be working closely with the managing director, Lars Larsen. Our website is ranked #3 in the Australian jewellery industry based on organic traffic for engagement ring related searches, so there is a large opportunity ahead of us for ecommerce which is a fairly undeveloped part of our business at this point.
We are open to whether this role is done on a contract basis or as a permanent part time employee. Ideally we are looking for someone to do 2 days per week but this is flexible. We are also open to whether this role is done from home or from our office, although some face-to-face meetings would be necessary especially in the beginning.
