Website Consultant
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are in the planning stages of building a complex new website with multiple components and functionalities including, but not limited to, an online library, forums, community content, levels of access and user dashboards. We are seeking a consultant to advise us on how this site can be built and what is involved at each stage.
This first phase of the website project is to analyze an existing website that has some of the key functionalities that will be incorporated into our new site.
Note that the site to be analyzed has approximately 7,000 pages indexed in Google. Most of the pages are content created with site functionality. Our focus is on function rather than content.

Deliverables will include the following
• A list of each major function of the website
• A report detailing how this functionality can be duplicated. Which of the functions can be built with off the shelf, semi-custom or custom software?
• In your report list detailed recommendations of how this site can be built in a cost-effective way. What is the best platform to build the site on? What applications can be used, where to find sources, and cost projections, etc.
• Give an estimate of the resources (skills, time, and money) that it will take to prepare a detailed website specification to go out for proposal.
