Custom theme development

Do you already have a final visual design for the theme?
Yes. I just need a developer to build the theme.

I am looking for a developer to finish up some custom work on my website that a previous Shopify Expert was unable to complete. See attached. I was told by another developer that the site would most likely need to be redone because I created some of the pages in a Shopify third-party drag and drop app called Gempages and some of the pages were custom coded by the previous developer. I was told that this cause an issue. The site will need to be created in a manner that I will be able to make most updates without the need to be able to code. The previous developer accomplished this by using Shopify's product page. We do have video samples of how they did this. I have a design background but do not have any coding experience. I will be able to provide Adobe Xd or Photoshop files once I have specs from the developer. Can you please advise on whether this developer is correct and the site needs to be redone or if you are able to use existing code and make the necessary changes provided in the PDF. The site is currently built in a manner that I can make a lot of the updates myself through the Shopify product engine. It needs to be easy and reliable for me to make updates. If it is still possible for me to use Gempages and still have pages that are not flagged by google for loading slow or sloppy code that would be the best-case scenario. If you have any additional questions please let me know.
