Web Enhancement for Accessible User Experience (blindness, deafness, ...)

Job ID: 37720564

Budget: $2 – $15 USD

I need a skilled freelancer to optimize my websites, making them accessible (enforced by law) for persons with disabilities, like blind, color blind, high contrast only and the deaf.

Key Objectives:
- I'm specifically looking to comply with accessibility standards of the European Union

A excerpt of Areas of Concern:
- Text and font readability seems to be a current hurdle.
- The navigation and website layout could use improvement.
- Video or audio content could be enhanced for a wider audience reach.

we will only hire experts with experiences in that topic. Be aware we want to have proofs of audits which you have written/created.
We will NOT hire self named "experts" with no experience proofs and thus no real experience at all.

The ideal candidate for this project should have a strong background in web design and development, with specific expertise in improving website accessibility. A deep understanding of the WCAG guidelines and other accessibility standards is a must. Experience with screen readers, alternative text solutions, and closed captioning is also highly desirable. Please provide proof of any such work in your portfolio.

Please ensure your bid includes the expected duration of this project, as well as any other potential areas of improvement you may see fit to implement. Thank you.

The process of development:
- we will share you a website
- you do a brief audit
- you share the findings
- we discuss the findings
- you explain the findings to the developers
- they have to fix on their own the issues with the tools as testing, which you used for test
- they report the fix
- you retest the fix and confirm the fixture, or you reopen the issue to fix
