Purpose:
We are a software product development company with thousands of active users. To keep up with the growth, and to implement sales & support features/operations on our website, we want to develop a new website/web app.
Business requirements:
- cms based app
- call to action buttons (e.g. "request demo") with email notifications to the user and us
- add the email id to subscribed list
- unsubscribe support
- payment gateway integration preference: stripe
- user roles: end-user, content author non-publishing permissions, moderator - publishing permissions, admin - all permissions
End user roles/permissions/operations:
- register
- login
- forgot password
- purchased products, download invoices pdf
- delete account
- logout
Admin configuration pages:
- email notification templates
- email ids to send notifications to our team for "call to action" submissions
Design, look, appearance:
- simple, elegant, professional
- responsive design
- light-weight components
- avoid bloating pages with unnecessary css/js libraries
- use minified libraries
- on-page seo aware pages
Preferred layout:
- top menu area
- full content area below the menu
- footer
Technology:
- backend preference: sulu cms
- git based source code management
- frontend preference: bootstrap, react
- push to deploy to staging & production
Infrastructure:
- we will manage domain, hosting and db
- we will provide staging and production environments during development and testing
- we will provide email provider for testing/production
- we will provide git repo access during development & deployment
