Vilaav Homes is a premium home furnishing brand offering custom furniture, décor, and textiles. With a growing presence in India and UAE, we’re building an e-commerce platform that reflects our design-led identity and makes shopping for furniture a delightful experience.
Our current Shopify website has been partially developed but needs further improvement, including new features, design refinement, and enhanced UI/UX.
What We Need:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Shopify developer who can work closely with our team to refine, upgrade, and complete our website on Shopify. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of premium design, be detail-oriented, and able to build seamless user experiences for both desktop and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and audit the current build of www.vilaavhomes.com
Work on customizing and optimizing:
Home Page: Visual storytelling, collection previews, banner sliders, and brand highlights
Product Pages: Enhanced gallery, custom layout for furniture specs, variant handling, and stock info
Collections Page: Filters, sorting options, navigation ease
Cart & Checkout: Multi-region support (India & UAE), shipping rules, delivery slot selection, payment gateway setup
About Us / Blog / Contact Pages: Clean content layout with lead capture and form functionalities
Implement multi-currency, multi-region setup (India & UAE)
Set up backend settings for:
Tax configuration by region
Delivery pin code checker and availability logic
Easy CMS access for team to update content
Ensure full mobile responsiveness and performance optimization
Integrate Shopify apps where needed (reviews, shipping, loyalty, upsells)
Optional: Coordinate with our designer or suggest design changes if needed
Must-Have Skills:
Proven experience with Shopify development (Liquid, ThemeKit, Storefront API)
Strong frontend skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design)
Experience with Shopify Plus or handling multi-region stores is a big plus
Ability to integrate third-party apps & APIs
Good understanding of eCommerce UX for premium lifestyle brands
Familiarity with India and UAE e-commerce behaviors, taxes, and logistics is a bonus
Strong communication skills & ability to work independently
Deliverables:
Fully functional and polished Shopify site ready for launch
All core pages developed and tested (home, product, collection, checkout, blog, etc.)
Working delivery, currency, and region-specific features
Post-launch support for 2–4 weeks for bug fixes and performance issues
Timeline:
We’d like to complete this in phases with clear weekly milestones. Approximate timeline for full launch: 4–6 weeks.
