Upgrade my website

I currently have a basic website for my portfolio on Google Sites. I'm looking to upgrade it with some web design and branding, a blog section for articles and writing, and a library for projects.

I'm open to changing from Google Sites to something else (like Squarespace or similar), but it has to be very easy for me to maintain, as I intend to spend very little time managing it.
