The Project brief
The scope of project is to design, build and configure a transport website in Sydney Australia. The design process includes Wireframes, sitemap, images and buttons.
Our company owns few different types of cars such as Sedan, SUV, Limousine, Mini bus.
We offer the following services to tourists and groups
- Airport transport, Weddings, VIP transport, transport to and from sports events, this transportation service is referred to as Point-to-Point (P2P) in this project.
o Example : a family of 4 arriving to airport and need to book Sedan or mini bus to their hotel, one way or 2 way trip.
- Customised day or half day tours (referred to in this project as products), tours to touristic destinations in and around Sydney.
o Example : half day tour (4hours) to visit Sydney Harbour with a stopover in café for lunch, price is predefined per person
The new website shall offer the following services
For the public to book and pay a transportation online in 2 different methods
a. P2P transportation: in which the customer will enter full details including destinations
a. Site is expected to measure distance of trip using Google Maps, and calculate costs based on pre-configured cost/kms In the system
b. The customer is expected to issue INSTANT quote, or Buy instantly and receive confirmation.
b. Customised tours are Pre-defined product setup in website database, in which case the customer will select tour, get a quote or proceed to Buy and pay.
