Project Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented developer or development team to manage the end-to-end (E2E) migration of our existing Shopify e-commerce website to a new WooCommerce website using the Flatsome Theme.
The selected professional(s) must ensure that all features, content, and functionality from the current Shopify store are seamlessly migrated to WooCommerce, along with the necessary SEO tasks to maintain and improve our website’s search engine presence.
Scope of Work:
Complete Migration from Shopify to WooCommerce (Flatsome Theme):
• Migrate all products, including variations, SKUs, prices, images, descriptions, tags, and meta information.
• Migrate all product categories and collections.
• Transfer all customer accounts, order history, and relevant store data.
• Transfer content pages, such as About Us, Contact, Policies, FAQs, etc.
• Rebuild website design and layout using Flatsome Theme, ensuring modern, clean, responsive design.
• Preserve or improve existing website functionality.
• Setup of payment gateways, shipping methods, taxes, etc.
• Ensure full mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
SEO Migration & Optimization:
• Transfer all meta titles, descriptions, alt tags, and other SEO-relevant content.
• Setup of 301 redirects to avoid broken links and retain search engine rankings.
• Ensure proper URL structure, keeping URLs consistent where possible.
• Submission of updated sitemap and indexing to search engines.
• On-page SEO audit and basic optimization recommendations post-migration.
• Ensure website loading speed is optimized.
Quality Assurance & Testing:
• Full pre-launch testing of all site functionality, checkout process, and responsiveness.
• Testing of forms, product filters, account creation, and order placement.
• Debugging and final fixes.
E2E Delivery Includes:
• Fully functional, production-ready WooCommerce website.
