Shopify Developer

Role & Responsibilities:
- Creating responsive website designs
- eCommerce site development and developing custom Shopify themes
- Integrating third-party and platform-supported apps in the sites
- Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in Shopify platform
- Page speed optimization of Shopify sites * Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in Shopify sites
- Transforming complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3 templates


Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Shopify platform
- Min 2+ Years of experience
- Experience in Shopify theme development and customization
- Experience in Shopify custom app development
- Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language
- Proficiency in creating and deploy A/B tests to understand the effectiveness of landing pages and designs, using tools like Google Optimize.
- Proficiency in working with different Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections, etc
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/ECMA Script 5/6
- Good Knowledge of SCSS (preferred)
- Expertise in JavaScript libraries (e.g. jQuery).
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and how to reconcile them
- Strong understanding of responsive web design techniques
- Understanding of W3C web standards/semantics and accessibility guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to execute development with minimal oversight, ability to take ownership of projects
