We are looking for a talented Front-End Developer with expertise in Shogun, (A PLUS = Shopify, and/or BigCommerce) to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis.
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with strong experience in Shogun page builder and Shopify and/or BigCommerce platforms. This role will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining high-quality, user-friendly web pages that enhance customer engagement and drive conversions. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for design, a deep understanding of eCommerce, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, design, and optimize responsive eCommerce pages using Shogun.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and developers to implement high-quality front-end solutions.
Customize and enhance themes, templates, and site layouts to improve user experience and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to front-end development.
Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility for all web pages.
Implement A/B tests and performance optimizations to maximize conversions.
Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in front-end development and eCommerce.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience with Shogun page builder.
Strong proficiency in Shopify and/or BigCommerce.
Solid front-end development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid (for Shopify), and Stencil (for BigCommerce).
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with SEO best practices for eCommerce.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with additional eCommerce platforms such as Magento or WooCommerce.
Understanding of UX/UI principles for eCommerce.
Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations.
Knowledge of headless commerce and JAMstack approaches.
