Travel Itinarary Planner Project Brief
The Itinerary Planner project is a project which is aiming to allow users for a small fee to provide variables (budget, length, interests) on holidays which they would like to take via filling out a questionaire where the responses are then fed through to our professionals who will piece together a travel itinerary capturing what they would like to do or might like within a defined budget for the user who can then go ahead and book their holiday.
This project will be of benefit to clients who would like to travel, not use pre-defined tours which often prove to be expensive for what you get, time consuming and often overwhelming with the amount choice and decisions to be made.
This project will be built using a custom built C# API with an angular typescript front-end.
A Detailed Guide to How the Itinerary Planner Works:
The Itinerary Planner works by the user entering details about their desired trip. These details include:
Contact Details:
Name
Email
Personal Details of the people going:
Number of People
Age of each person (only seen after user has enter the value for number of people)
Any restrictions (food, mobility etc)
Initial Trip Details:
Your Starting Location.
Length of Trip
Is the Length of the Trip Flexible
Budget (Per Person or as a single total)
Pace of Trip - drop down with Relaxed, Medium, Busy
A description will need to be displayed detailing what these options mean:
Relaxed - Occasional pre-planned activities. Will include more relax time with nothing scheduled, but will have the occasional item planned into the itinerary. This is best for people who want to do main attractions, but take their time or wish to do things as they feel like it when they are there.
Medium - A balance of activities/items, but also allowing some free time to do as you please while you are on your trip. This is best for people who prefer a balance between activities and relaxation.
Busy - Cram as many activities/items in as possible. This is best for people who want to do as many things as possible on their trip,
Itinerary Details:
Countries - combo selection list where the user can select single or multiple countries
Cities/Towns - combo multi selection list where the user can select what cities/towns/places they are would like to go to for each country selected
Attractions for the places selected
Your Interests:
A section of checkbox along the lines of:
Food, Culture, Adventure, Walking Tours, Guided Tours, Water, Animals
Your Comments:
A text area where users can add any further information which they might like to add

Logo Design
We need a logo to be designed for the website, and a good catchy name which will be incorporated into the logo design. We have no preferences

Home Page:
The home page will need to be visually attractive to users.
The home page should contain the following sections:
Header/Menu
Hero Section -> Call to Action to Get your itinerary
Descriptive About Section which details what the site is, how it works and what the user gets
Pricing Section which details the pricing of using the services - this will be charged as a per usage element with a payment at the end of the wizard before submission
Get an Itinarary Section - another section to promote the user to take action
Testimonials Section - A section displaying user testimonials
FAQs Section - A section displaying frequently asked questions
Footer Section - Contains copyright, a contact email address

Once the user clicks to get an itinerary, they will need see/do the following:

- Third page of the wizard contains:
-- Itinerary Details (Countries, Cities, Attractions)
- Fourth page of the wizard contains:
