Senior Full-Stack Developer

Brief
Become a member of an engineering team responsible for building and maintaining a wide assortment of mission critical, highly available, and high-traffic apps and services.
Your goal will be to build and own new client facing systems, share knowledge and assist in wider impact infrastructure improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Develop software solutions by closely collaborating with architects and technical executives, investigating problem areas and following best practices
Determine the best course of implementation by evaluating the requirements, possible solutions, and the cost of their implementation
Document and demonstrate proposed and implemented solutions
Own the delivery pipeline for implemented solutions
Update knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, techniques, and concepts, and apply them in day-to-day tasks and future solutions
Support and mentor junior colleagues
Grow engineering teams by participating in the hiring process
Required Skills
5+ years of professional experience building web apps using PHP/JavaScript and related development tools and frameworks
Excellent knowledge of architecture design patterns
Excellent knowledge of SQL/NoSQL concepts
Ability to take a project from the requirements analysis phase through to the actual launch
Experience building complex, multi-service web systems
Experience with communicating with other technical teams and management, to collect and centralize requirements, identify tasks, and provide accurate estimates
Experience with building software backed by asynchronous message passing
Experience with mission critical, 99.99% availability systems
Preferred Skills
Experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter
Experience with MySQL, Casandra
Experience with the ELK stack
Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, Vue, TypeScript
Experience with cloud providers with emphasis on AWS
Experience with RabbitMQ and Kafka
University Degree (M.Sc. or higher in related CS field)
