Seeking 3D Web Designer for Immersive Dionysian-Themed Event Website -- 2
Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR
We are looking for a talented and imaginative 3D web designer/developer to bring to life a mythology-inspired event website centered on the god Dionysus. The project involves creating a narrative-driven, atmospheric 3D experience for users, offering both visual immersion and functional interactivity.
Visual & Environmental Requirements:
+ Scene toggle between daytime (sunset) and night mode.
Exterior setting:
HOME/LANDING:
+ mountain forest environment;
+ dionysian temple with ivy-covered pillars;
+ fireflies gently flying around the temple (both day and night)
+ stone table with engraved message:
‘COME AS YOU ARE’ – there are no masks here;
+ ivy-covered pillars, ancient amphorae with grapevine engravings;
+ a welcoming satyr character at the temple entrance, offering a brief spoken or written introduction;
+ Ambient ancient Greek-style music, with a mute/unmute button (audio will be provided by us)
+ click the door to get in the temple (UPCOMING EVENTS PAGE)
UPCOMING EVENTS PAGE (Main Sanctuary):
+ central temple chamber inspired by Bacchic rituals;
+ dancing Bacchae, a man and a woman
+ torches flickering along the walls;
+ symbols of transformation (snakes, panther patterns, wine goblets)
+ stone niches with upcoming event “scrolls” or fixed tables;
+ clickable doors to reach rooms/pages: PAST EVENTS - BLOG - CONTACT
PAST EVENTS PAGE (Hall of Echoes):
+ a circular room lined with mosaics and frescoes of past events:
each event is represented by an urn or votive that users can click to open image galleries
Echoing ambient sounds to suggest memory and ritual (provided by us)
BLOG PAGE (Library of Dionysus)
+ a quieter chamber styled as a vine-wrapped library;
+ ancient scrolls and tomes represent articles;
+ registered users can open scrolls and submit their own writings
+ floating candles illuminate each blog post title.
CONTACT PAGE (Audience with Dionysus):
+ a hidden, grove-like room with a statue of Dionysus leaning against the trunk of a tree with a small bright sun in the centre;
+ background of wine fountains and laurel leaves;
+ interactive social media icons built into ancient tablets;
+ mailing list sign-up and RSVP form embedded into scrolls.
LEGAL PAGES (The Archive) - GDPR compliance:
+ a crypt-like chamber of carved stone tablets;
+ users can click on tablets to open static pages like Privacy Policy & Terms and Conditions.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
+ Static 3D navigation between rooms (non-VR) instead of a standard navigation bar.
A floating or collapsible traditional navbar can still be included;
+ cross-browser compatible & responsive (desktop & tablet);
+ newsletter subscription form and RSVP registration with custom fields
+ user registration and post submission for the Blog section
+ multilanguage-ready structure (translations provided by us).
Proposal should follow a 3-phase plan:
1. Concept draft: Initial moodboards, sketches, or partial demo.
2. Approval phase: One selected concept will be approved for full development.
3. Final development: Completed delivery within maximum 5 months.
BUDGET:
Maximum total budget: €3,000 - hosting and domain provided by us.
All-in: design, development, testing, final delivery.
Project will be awarded to the bidder who provides the most creative and technically feasible draft concept.
Additional notes:
+ Website must be realised in english, but should support future translations (multilangual).
+ Background music and text content will be provided.
+ Portfolio of previous immersive or creative 3D projects strongly encouraged.
