SCOPE OF WORK — WEBSITE CONTENT, DESIGN & SEO FIXES (CONDENSED)

Goal
Deliver a professional, conversion-ready B2B website with clean visual layout, polished copy, and solid on-page SEO. Secondary aim: resolve UX/mobile issues and basic technical cleanup.

Deliverables

Sitewide copy edited and professionally rewritten where needed (no typos, no placeholders/dummy text).

Clean, consistent visual layout and headings; clear information hierarchy.

On-page SEO: titles, meta descriptions, headings, alt text, image optimization, crawlability, XML sitemap.

UX/Conversion: consistent CTAs, working forms, clickable phone links (tel:), no broken links.

Mobile responsiveness verified on common breakpoints.

Basic performance improvements applied (image compression, caching/minification where available).

Handover notes summarizing edits, settings, and remaining low-priority ideas.

A) VISUAL LAYOUT & CONTENT (Top Priority)

Proofread & rewrite: Correct all spelling/grammar; remove template/dummy text; replace with real, succinct copy.

Value proposition: Make the core offer obvious above the fold (benefit-led headline + short subhead + primary CTA).

Consistency: Use one voice and tone; unify capitalization, punctuation, and number/phone formats across pages.

Headings: One H1 per page; logical H2/H3; remove duplicate/stacked headings; break long blocks into scannable bullets.

Audience fit: Add brief callouts for key audiences (e.g., Project Managers/Supers, General Contractors, Owners) with specific benefits/outcomes.

About page: Replace any generic placeholders with a concise, authentic company story (mission, region served, expertise, differentiators).

Services/Use-cases: For each scenario (e.g., commercial, events, remote sites), add 1–3 bullets explaining how the solution addresses that context.

Trust: Add 1–3 short testimonials or a simple case highlight if available (real results, avoided losses).

Imagery: Remove/replace any image showing other brands; use relevant, high-quality photos that depict the product/service in context.

Readability: Ensure contrast and legibility for text over images; keep layouts tidy and consistent.

B) SEO IMPROVEMENTS (High Priority)

Titles: Unique, descriptive <title> per page (~50–60 chars) using relevant keywords.

Metas: Unique meta description per page (~150–160 chars) summarizing benefits + soft CTA.

Headings & keywords: Ensure 1× H1; use H2/H3 for sections; include natural keywords (no stuffing).

Alt text: Add descriptive alt to all meaningful images; rename files to descriptive slugs where practical.

Crawlability/indexing: Confirm no accidental noindex; validate robots.txt allows key paths; ensure blog and key pages are indexable.

Performance: Compress/convert large images; enable caching/minification if supported; address top PageSpeed issues (especially mobile).

FAQ schema: Add FAQ structured data to the FAQ page (if present) for eligible Q&A.

Sitemap/Search Console: Generate XML sitemap and submit; check for crawl errors/mobile issues and fix.

Local presence (advisory/optional): Ensure Google Business Profile exists/updated; consistent NAP in major directories (Yelp/Bing/Apple/LinkedIn).

C) UX, MOBILE & CONVERSION (High → Medium)

CTAs: Use one primary CTA label across site (e.g., “Get an Instant Quote”); place above the fold and after key sections.

Forms: Test all forms; keep fields minimal; confirm success message and delivery; add basic spam protection if needed.

Phone links: Make phone numbers clickable (tel:). Consider a persistent mobile CTA (call or quote).

Navigation: Ensure all menu items and in-page links work; add helpful cross-links (e.g., from long FAQ to Contact).

Consistency: Align product details and pricing across pages; remove any legacy/template pricing blocks that do not apply.

Broken links: Scan and fix 404s/missing images; ensure required legal pages exist and are linked in the footer.

Mobile checks: Validate layouts at common breakpoints; fix overflow/overlap; ensure tables/cards stack readably.

Accessibility basics: Alt text (above), sufficient color contrast, meaningful link text.

Optional offer: If promoting a free trial/demo/consultation, specify terms clearly and ensure spelling/placement is correct.

TECHNICAL QA & PERFORMANCE (Medium)

Image optimization: Convert to modern formats where supported; compress to balance quality/speed.

CSS/JS: Minify where possible; defer/async non-critical scripts if platform permits.

Caching: Enable browser/server caching via site tools or host settings.

Core Web Vitals: Address major CLS/LCP issues flagged by PageSpeed/Console (best-effort within platform limits).

HANDOVER

Provide brief change log (what was edited/added/removed), list of plugins/settings adjusted, and recommendations for ongoing content (e.g., 3–5 blog topics aligned to target audiences).

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

Professional presentation: No typos, no placeholder/dummy text, consistent headings/formatting, relevant imagery with no external branding.

SEO hygiene: Unique titles/descriptions; proper H1/H2; alt text present; images optimized; key pages crawlable; XML sitemap submitted.

UX & conversion: Clear, consistent primary CTA; working forms with confirmations; phone links clickable; no broken links.

Mobile/responsiveness: Pages render correctly on common mobile/tablet breakpoints.

Performance: Notable improvement on PageSpeed/Lighthouse vs. baseline (especially mobile) and no severe blocking issues.

Completion: Work is complete when the site passes a post-fix audit against this scope and is accepted by ai web audit tools
