Job ID: 30758338

Budget: £10,000 – £20,000 GBP

https://www.metricgaming.com/

Current solution was built In House. It is a static website with no CMS

We are looking for a contractor to rebuild an angular site securely with a CMS component which can be passed to Metric, so as to be able to update important sections of the site In House.
We would like the site hosted, with access to site maintenance as required. Current hosting set up:
(4 cpu cores + 16GB RAM) x 2 zones for redundancy
Kubernetes 2 nodes

We will provide the design assets for the new site, which should have improved load times and functionality. Captured changes required:

UI
Bug Fixes (Alpha)
1. Section title headers not completing transition on user scroll

2. In-House Products, Media and Partners title headers do not have transitions like all other pages

3. Product pages can display faulty scroll down/across buttons when navigating backwards through the site

Updates
1. Agree solution for Cookie Acceptance
1. Currently the corp site uses GA cookies - the site does not present any GDPR compliant cookie acceptance dialog to the user.
1. See attached a compliance report I ran on metricgaming.com: Osano GDPR Compliance Report
b. What needs to be decided?
1. How does it behave and position on the page
2. How do we ensure the information is compliant with the cookies we actually have implemented?
2. Update supported brands
3. Update news articles and video archive
. How to do it on an ongoing basis?
4. Update careers section to be part of the menu options (currently just available in footer)
. Ongoing updates on available jobs.
5. Review Consistency of Content Appear/Disappear on Scroll
. Pages are not consistent in how content is populated and removed
6. Adding in the In Play Innovations page with new video
7. Add a new ‘Contact Us’ with link to calendar and ability to arrange a demo by inputting company and personal contact information.
Performance Optimisations
1. Whole site load time
1. The large embedded video and image assets create long load times for the user, this is particularly problematic for older devices and non-4G or better internet speeds.
1. Can the assets be optimised in any way?
1. Partial loads of site content before the first page viewable?
2. Optimised asset formats or reduction in size?
3. Improved caching via cloudflare?
2. Mobile breakpoint optimisation
. Currently the corp site is not optimised for viewing across a range of mobile device sizes. Work has been captured to make the site optimised for the following dimensions:
1. Min Width: 360 / Max Width: 414
2. Min Height: 640 / Max Height: 896
a. All assets must be responsive to the sizes defined above (images, copy, animation).
b. They must be responsive across these browsers:
1. Chrome
2. Safari (+in app)
3. Firefox
1. NB// We must compensate the height with the top address bar and bottom browser (approx. 122px).
3. Desktop breakpoint optimisation
. Currently the corp site is not optimised for viewing across a range of desktop device sizes. Work has been captured to make the site optimised for the following dimensions:
1. Min Width: 1280 / Max Width: 1920
2. Min Height: 600 / Max Height: 1080
a. All assets must be responsive to the sizes defined above (images, copy, animation).
b. They must be responsive across these browsers:
1. Chrome
2. Safari (+in app)
3. Firefox
