Project: Multilingual Shopify Store Setup (.eu and .nl domains)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We currently operate a Dutch website/webshop built on WordPress/WooCommerce. For international growth, we’re transitioning to Shopify with a multilingual setup. We’ve already purchased a Shopify template and set up the environment.
Scope of Work:
We are looking for a Shopify expert to:
* Set up two language stores (German and English) on our .eu domain, starting with German
* Later this year, migrate our Dutch store to Shopify on the .nl domain (not part of this project, but relevant for the architecture) - could be a future project for you
* Copy and adapt ~10 content pages from Dutch to German and English
* Create approx. 20 SKUs with translated content (some already present in Dutch in Shopify)
* Translate and assign product content to appropriate languages
* Set up transactional emails in the correct language
* Create 2 HubSpot-connected forms (contact and quote request)
* Add a cookie consent banner using Complianz
* Add a custom order status field (e.g., “Waiting for customer logo”) so we can filter orders accordingly
Requirements:
* Proven experience with Shopify multilingual setups and domain/language SEO best practices
* Able to correctly configure separate domains/extensions for each language (e.g., .eu for EN/DE, .nl for NL, future .fr for FR)
* No custom coding required — all work should remain within template capabilities
* Clear delivery in 14 days
