Pet Service Website Revamp & Improvement
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We have a dog walking and pet sitting company that needs an updated website! Need assistance in choosing a new website platform/hosting & build new website based similarly off our current website. We are hoping to have this completed prior to May 7th when all of our annual subscriptions renew.
Currently we have WordPress ‘managed’ through GoDaddy. We are unhappy with the costs and performance/options with WP and are looking into other platforms like Wix, Squarespace, and etc - would like to discuss with someone more familiar about pros and cons. The current website was originally built in 2016 and has annual issues where Godaddy calls us to inform us about security issues on their side that we don't see, so would like to ensure any move to a new site doesn't have the same issue.
We currently have a decent website that has the features we want:
1. Multi page website - ie. home page, about us, careers, etc
2. Our Team & Our Services pages both have internal sub/mini pages that expand on our staff and services individually.
3. User login (for staff) - password protected that includes: -Documents, video links,, Lockdown pdfs (cannot remove them in anyway)
4. Security and SEO options
5. Must be able for us to easily edit in the future - change photos and text, update staff pages, services & fees, as well as make updates to the training page.
Preferred want to add:
1. Add Training Course for staff training, to be nested under our member login area - where it is ‘learning course’ like - so it tracks progress and time spent of each user- this would mostly replace/reorganize the User Login section and expand on its abilities.
Good to know:
we have our brand standards, custom fonts, images, and brand colors all ready to go. The website doesn't have to be different than the current- but would love for you to put your creative touch to modernize it.
We are looking to hire someone that has experience in building the above with references, can jump on a zoom call to discuss(we have a flexible schedule, and can have this completed in the next 2.5 week - if possible.
