Optimize and fix WP website

Hi there,
I am looking for someone who knows what is doing in a WordPress courses site that I need to have up and running soon but have some issues.

I have been told that my website has two visual composer Elementor and WpBakery, which apparently worked independently. Everything seemed to be looking good but it seems now that the Home page has an issue as it appears that I did something and the Elementor got "integrated" or "added" to the home page and now you can see shortcodes all over it. Also, if I want to make changes to the Home page, they either don't go live or break something else. (I.e. The mobile version breaks or doesn't change, and viceversa)

I don't have an IT person, don't know much about it and don't want to deal with the guy who designed it, as I didn't have a good experience with him.

I just want someone who can fix this, make some small changes to the Home page, and test that it's all good for me to finally launch it.
