Optimising Google ads on our website

We have a new release of our website... Total Pets, it is an Australian pets website - (totalpets.com.au). We want to have google ads set up on it so we are not getting a lot of duplicate ads and they are not distorting the site template.

We want to find out the best customised solution to optimise revenue without making the site cluttered and possible excluding the front page.
