The building will be 16 x 14 sitting on a concrete foundation.and the ceiling height per code staff can only be 8 feet max…. said it’s OK with 5 PSF…noting the standard is 20 PSF for roof. Code noted a 12 /4 ratio for the roof. VIP We’re looking to do a vaulted ceiling that could support, solar panels and tile roofing…stucco …foam insulation.,…meant for the desert and sound reduction due to ATV vibration/noise….tiles are heavier and with solar engineering is needed. Air flow with vaulted ceilings is key….it will have a mr cool.
we might not be doing an engineering plan, but we’re being approved it here and we wanted to be safe and sturdy. I’ll attach a photo… if it’s possible, potentially two options, standard for quarter to center peak roof or a slanted roof high end on the fence side, lower end on the house side.
