The aim of this project is to develop a streamlined and modern web application that allows users to book medical appointments effortlessly. At the same time, doctors will have a simple tool to manage their availability and track patient appointments.
The project will focus on a clean and mobile-first UI, ensuring a seamless experience for all users. Below is a detailed breakdown of the key features and technologies to be used.
Core Features
Public Portal (Users)
• Appointment Booking: Users, with or without an account, can search for doctors and book appointments based on available time slots.
• User Profile: Registered users can log in to view their booking history and update basic profile details such as name, email, and profile picture.
Doctor Portal
• Availability Management: Doctors can add and manage their available time slots, which will automatically sync to the public portal.
• Booking History: Doctors can view past and upcoming bookings.
• Doctor Profile: Update basic account information easily.

Frontend
• React.js: Both the public portal and doctor portal will be built using React.js with a mobile-first approach for optimal responsiveness.
• Minimal and Modern UI: A clean and functional design will be the backbone of the interface, ensuring intuitive navigation and user experience.

• Node.js with Express: A lightweight backend to handle core functionalities such as appointment scheduling and business logic.
• Amazon DynamoDB: A fast, scalable database for storing user, doctor, and booking information.
