Scope of Work:
User Authentication:
Develop a login and registration system.
Users should be able to create an account with an email and password.
Secure password storage with hashing and encryption.
Allow users to recover/reset passwords via email.
Database Management:
Store user information in a database (MySQL or MongoDB).
Track user bookings and login history.
Basic structure for car inventory (car ID, car model, availability status).
Call-to-Book Functionality:
No online booking system for now.
Users will be able to view available cars on the website but will book by calling a given number.
Display a prominent "Call to Book" button with the phone number.
Front-End:
Design a clean, responsive website for users to navigate easily.
Display available car models, descriptions, and status (Available or Booked).
Include a login form for users.
Back-End:
Handle user authentication and database interaction.
Update car availability status.
Admin panel for car management (Optional: Admin can add/edit cars, change availability).
Technologies Preferred:
Front-End: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React JS preferred but open to suggestions).
Back-End: Node.js/Express or Python/Flask.
Database: MySQL or MongoDB.
Future Enhancements:
We later extend the project to include online booking and payment processing, so the codebase should be extendable.
Deliverables:
Fully functioning login and registration system.
Car display section with available car models.
"Call to Book" button integrated into each car listing.
Database setup for storing user data and car inventory.
Instructions for deployment and brief documentation of the code.
